GSOM SPbSU programmes International Accreditations and Institutional Memberships
International accreditations and institutional memberships are essential road marks. GSOM gained an unprecedented for a Russian business school international recognition through a set of institutional memberships in the most prestigious international professional associations. They include CEMS (as an Associate Academic Member since 2006 and the only representative from Russia, since 2008 – Full Academic Member); institutional member of AACSB (since 2004), EFMD (since 2006), EABiS (since 2006) and GRLI (since 2007). In October 2007 GSOM was granted a highly prestigious status of a Candidate to Membership at PIM, in October 2008 - Full Membership at PIM.

The European Foundation for Management Development is a non-for-profit organization that was founded in 1972. It brings together management development professionals, and also helps its members with continuous quality improvement. EFMD is actively involved in accreditation of higher education institutions in management and accreditation of degree programmes.
SOM SPbSU became an Institutional Member of the European Foundation for Management Development in November, 2006. It was approved by the EFMD Membership Review Committee. |

AACSB International was founded in 1916 and began its accreditation function with the adoption of the first standards in 1919. It represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools, worldwide. Institutions that earn accreditation confirm their commitment to quality and continuous improvement through a rigorous and comprehensive peer review. AACSB International accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in management education.

PIM, Partnership in International Management, is a consortium of leading international business schools, founded in 1973. Each member institution represents the highest degree of excellence in the fields of business administration and management, demonstrates leadership in their geographic region and delivers an MBA or a graduate-equivalent degree in management.
In October 2007 GSOM SPbSU (the single institution in Russia) became PIM candidate member in MBA and Master programs sphere. Graduate School of Management, St. Petersburg State University, has been accepted as a full member of Partnership in International Management at the 35-th PIM Conference on October 22 - 24, 2008.
